Monisha Bharadwaj is a professional Indian chef who runs a successful Indian cookery school, Cooking With Monisha, in London. She will be teaching her simple and delicious style of Indian cooking for the first time in Edinburgh after a successful cooking retreat last year in Fort William. In this class, you will learn to blend spices, create subtle curry pastes and achieve a balance of flavour to create a meal without needing to use a whole cupboard full of ingredients. Monisha will give you secret tips on how to make a healthy and delicious Indian meal in a matter of minutes!
Afterwards, as we eat our feast, Monisha will lead an informal discussion on how home cooking differs from Indian restaurant food and the history of how Indian food came to Britain and became the nation's favourite cuisine.
